How it works
Each evaluation moves through the same steps. You can see where every case stands.
Step 1: Set up the case.
Add the student and the district, record the referral reason, and log consent with the date it was signed.
Step 2: Plan and gather records.
Write the assessment plan. Upload prior evaluations, grades and teacher input, and read them in Records.
Step 3: Test and enter scores.
Enter standard scores, scaled scores and percentiles on the Scores tab, and keep observations and notes on the case.
Step 4: Draft the report.
Ask for a first draft of a report section. Names and ID numbers are masked before the text goes to AI. You edit and approve every section.
Step 5: Eligibility and sign-off.
Record the eligibility decision on a structured form based on the Texas categories in 19 TAC 89.1040. If sign-off is turned on, a reviewer signs the report version.
Step 6: Finalize and send.
Run the pre-finalize checks, finalize the report and export it. The export is recorded in the case's sharing log.
